Is Rome II worth it?
Is it worth it? Yes. This 2017 expansion was the first DLC released since 2014 and came about because Creative Assembly realised Rome II had more players in a day than every other historical Total War combined (at the time). Overall, it’s a very good campaign that differs enough from other Rome II experiences.
Is Rome 2 AI good?
It’s definitely in the upper half of TW AI, but a bit worse than the games that have come since it. It generally does well enough at setting up a solid line of infantry that you have to attack, and it knows to put archers behind infantry so you’re attacking under fire, but it still can’t handle cavalry very well.
Should I play rome2 or Attila?
Attila is the better game, both in terms of game dynamics and graphics. However, Rome II is set in a, for most people, more interesting historical background. Any more players are interested in building an Empire than defending an existing one. Same goes for Napoleon vs Empire TW.

Is Rome 2 worth it?
Don’t get me wrong; Rome II is a game worth savoring, but it also asks you to tolerate difficulties that don’t need to exist. These problems also have the potential to bog down the multiplayer campaigns, which also seem to be missing some of the personality and persistent elements from Shogun.
