Go to darkshore.
Check your map for a white chat icon and go to it.
Talk to the NPC zidormi and ask to go back in time.
You will be in a Pre-Tree destruction time and thus able to go back to Darnassus.
To leave that time just go back and talk to the Zidormi guy.
